The Renfrew County and District Health Unit has an opening for one (1) Temporary Public Health Inspector Practicum Student from June to September 2026.

Qualifications:
Enrolled in a post-secondary program or applicable military training to become a public health inspector;
Entry level knowledge of the Health Protection and Promotion Act and relevant regulations;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language;
Acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check required;
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (proof required); and
Valid Ontario ‘G’ Class Driver’s License and own vehicle required.

Term: 12 weeks from June to September 2026

Hourly Rate: $20.76 to $22.66 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay
