Oral Screening and Consultation

A Registered Dental Hygienist provides dental screening assessments for children and youth up to age 17. The Hygienist can discuss:

• Taking care of baby teeth
• Brushing/flossing
• Fluoride do’s and don’ts
• Cavity prevention
• Prevention of gum disease

The Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO) program may assist with the cost of dental care if paying for a child’s treatment is a financial hardship for the family.
