This summer, RCDHU is offering free community clinics for children and families! These are joint clinics, where you can connect with a Registered Dental Hygienist and/or a Public Health Nurse.
The following services are available:


Dental Clinics: All Ages
Visit a Registered Dental Hygienist. Children, adults, and seniors welcome!
Services include:
- A visual screening of teeth and gums
- Fluoride treatment (optional)
- Help applying for dental care programs:
- Canadian Dental Care Plan (all ages)
- Healthy Smiles Ontario (ages 17 and under)
- Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program (ages 65+)
Let’s Grow: Kindergarten Readiness
For children ages 18 months to 4 years. Get support from a Public Health Nurse regarding growth and development, including:
- Catch up on missed infant vaccines (2-18 month vaccines only)
- Developmental milestone check (early childhood screening)
- Tips to support your child’s growth and development
- Connections to local programs and community resources
Note: Clinics do not replace assessment or advice from a primary care provider.
