CCS 25-33 (Temporary) – COORDINATOR II, CLINICAL SERVICES

General Duties:
As a member of the management team, reporting to the Manager, Clinical Services, the
Coordinator is responsible for the effective coordination and leadership of assigned public
health immunization and infectious disease programs and services. These programs and
services aim to protect and promote the health of residents and prevent vaccine preventable
diseases within the RCDHU area, in alignment with the Ontario Public Health Standards. The
coordinator will contribute to organizational excellence and effective and efficient program
and service delivery.

Qualifications Skills and experience:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
• Master’s degree in public health or related discipline is considered an asset.
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Public Health Nurse.
• Knowledge and experience in the areas of supervision and program coordination,
considered assets.
• Knowledge and experience with community liaison, program implementation, team
building and policy development are desirable.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Ontario Public Health Standards, program specific
content knowledge and public health core competencies.
• Oral and written proficiency in English is essential. Proficiency in French is an asset.
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector check. required.
• Valid Ontario ‘G’ Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Proof that you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Location: Pembroke Office (on-site)

Term: Temporary, up to 6 months

Salary: $56.67 to $65.10 hourly (4% Vacation Pay and 8.5% In-Lieu of Benefits)
