Description of Trails
The Achray Trail Complex is a newly developed series of three stacked loops in the interior of Algonquin Park. The three trails are: Berm Lake Trail 4.3 km; Johnston Lake Trail, 6.5 km; and High Falls Trail, 15 km.

The Archray area of Algonquin Park contains a distinctive landscape of long lakes, spectacular cliffs, pine forests and sand beaches on Grand Lake. The Berm Lake, Johnston Lake and High Falls trails are well-marked and provide plenty of pleasant walking and scenery. The longest leg, High Falls, provides a lookout and a natural waterslide with a series of small chutes that converge into a larger waterfall with a pool at the bottom. Beginning in 1993, the Berm Lake trail will offer an interpretive booklet and sign posts explaining the ecology in the Berm Lake area.
