FACT SHEETS LONGER DOCUMENTS
  • Walking Tours of Renfrew County - this book, published in 1992 by the Health Unit, offered descriptions of over 30 walking tours in the area served by the Renfrew County and District Health Unit. We offer six of these tours below, reproduced from the book.    (Note that some of the road names may have changed recently due to the implementation of 911 emergency service and municipal addressing.

  • Bike Tours of the Ottawa Valley - this book, published in 1999 by the Renfrew County and District Health Unit and the Ottawa Valley Tourist Association, contains descriptions of 25 cycling tours.  PDF and hard copies of the book are available at the Ottawa Valley Tourist Association.  We present two popular routes below, reproduced from the book.

Petawawa Research Forest Trail Deacon - Tramore Tour

  • Walkers' Log Book - this is a motivational tool for walkers in which to record a year's worth of weekly walks.  This is a sample page from the log book. Copies of the whole booklet are available from the Health Unit. (lcassista@rcdhu.com)
