Community Health Status
The Renfrew County and
District Health Unit regularly collects and reviews data from
various sources on health status in the communities we serve: the
County of Renfrew, the City of Pembroke, the Township of South Algonquin, and
most of Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada. Findings are summarized in a report series entitled "Our
Health in Renfrew County and District". More recent
issues of the series can be viewed online. Older issues can
be obtained by contacting 613-735-8650, Extension 546.
Statistics Canada also offers many
excellent resources on-line including community
profiles based on recent demographic data collected in the census.

provides resources for professionals who use health information for population
health planning and program development in Ontario.
