Presentations and workshops for employees. All the latest
health promotion info and tips.

Displays on a variety of topics such as smoking cessation,
healthy eating, physical activity, low-risk drinking, cervical cancer,
sun safety, etc. We provide the materials and set up the
displays on request.

Heart Health Shuffle - this health promotion event is available
to travel to a workplaces. Participants have their blood
pressure measured, their waist-hip ratio calculated and their current
risk for heart disease assessed by a computer program. A
"corporate profile" is presented to management at the
worksite, outlining the heart health needs of staff. A Health
Unit staff member then works with the workplace to develop and
implement a heart health promotion plan.

Special event planning. We can help organize a quit-smoking
contest, Summer Active events, and other special activities.
